Prior to joining Milestone, Mr. Kruse held a number of high level jobs at the FDIC since December 2008.  In these roles, he was instrumental in developing and implementing the sale of real estate secured assets through the FDIC’s structured transaction program and developing the leverage.  Additionally, Mr. Kruse was a key member of the FDIC team that resolved three Puerto Rican banks in 2010.  Prior to joining the FDIC,  Mr. Kruse held a number of positions in the field of finance, with a particular focus on mortgage finance.  For three years, he was a financial consultant serving as a technical expert in the field of mortgage finance and asset valuation.  Prior to being a financial consultant, Mr. Kruse spent ten years at GMAC-RFC in a number of senior structured finance, treasury and risk management roles.  He also valued and sold/securitized both performing & non-performing portfolios for eight years at the Resolution Trust Corporation.  Prior to his service at the RTC, he held various secondary marketing roles in the savings & loan industry.  Mr. Kruse holds a B.A. in history from the College of William & Mary.
