Alain Toto is a Managing Director who joined Milestone Merchant Partners in July 2006, with responsibility in the origination and execution of corporate finance and M&A advisory assignments for the firm’s specialty finance clients. Mr. Toto was previously the Director of Portfolio Strategy at Shay Financial, an institutional fixed income broker-dealer and asset management company focused exclusively on depository institutions. Mr. Toto arrived to Shay Financial after his tenures at Bayview Financial Trading Group, Export Development Canada, CIBC World Markets, and Scotia Investment Management. Mr. Toto received a Bachelor of Commerce Honors from Carleton University and he is also accredited with the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
