Mr. Kaufman is a Managing Director of Milestone Merchant Partners. Mr. Kaufman works directly with the firm’s clients as a Senior Strategist, drawing upon his significant industry experience advising financial institutions on a broad range of balance sheet strategies. Previously, Mr. Kaufman was a Sr. Vice President, founder, and head of Keefe, Bruyette, and Woods’ Financial Strategies Team. In this capacity, he oversaw sales, trading and analytics of the firm’s fixed income effort working with banking institutions. Prior to this he was an Associate Director and fixed income salesman for Sandler, O’Neill & Partners, L.P. Mr. Kaufman began his career as a fixed income salesman for Bear Stearns & Co.

Mr. Kaufman graduated from Rutgers College where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English & Political Science.
