Mr. Fumea is an Investment Analyst for the Romania & Moldova Direct Fund. Mr. Fumea previously worked at FinansInvest as a Financial Analyst where he provided analysis of the automotive, construction, chemicals, transport sectors, developed database applications for the activities of the research department, published country reports and performed due diligence on the Romania mutual funds sector. Before joining FinansInvest, Mr. Fumea was a research analyst with Global Valori Mobiliare. At Global Valori Mobiliare, Mr. Fumea provided analysis on the automotive, construction, rubber and tires, glass, shipbuilding, aerospace and transport sectors for foreign and domestic clients. While at Global Valori Mobiliare, Mr. Fumea researched and wrote prospectuses for public offerings, provided advisory services for the privatization of Romanian companies, compiled company profiles, conducted sector studies and conducted, on a day-to-day basis, due diligence studies of potential target companies. Mr. Fumea holds a degree from Academy of Economic Sciences in Bucharest, which he received in 1997. He speaks English and Spanish fluently.
