Ed Rogers is a founding partner of the Washington, D.C. public affairs company Barbour, Griffith & Rogers and is of counsel to the Birmingham-based law firm, Balch & Bingham. From January 1989 until August 1991, Mr. Rogers served as Deputy Assistant to the President and Executive Assistant to the White House Chief of Staff. Mr. Rogers also served as White House Political Director. From 1987 through November 1988, Mr. Rogers was Senior Deputy to the Bush-Quayle Campaign Manager Lee Atwater. From 1985 to 1987, Mr. Rogers was a Special Assistant to President Reagan as Deputy Director, and then Director of the Office of Political Affairs. Mr. Rogers received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama where he currently serves on the President's cabinet and National Advisory Board.
