Ms. Blue is a Director of Bank Strategies with Milestone Merchant Partners
working with the firm's clients developing balance sheet strategies. Prior
to joining Milestone, Ms. Blue was a Managing Director at McGuire
Performance Solutions, Inc., a national consulting firm providing primarily
liability oriented solutions for financial institutions. While at MPS, Ms.
Blue assisted banks in raising core deposits. Previously, Ms. Blue served as
Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer at Sovereign Bank, a $35 billion bank
in the Mid-Atlantic and New England states. During her sixteen-year career
at Sovereign, she oversaw portfolio management, interest rate risk
management, income simulations and projections, profitability analysis,
budgeting, strategic planning, and capital planning. Ms. Blue was a member
of the team that raised $1.8 billion in capital to purchase 300 branches
from Fleet Boston; the largest branch divestiture in history. Her experience
includes working closely with the Department of Justice, regulators,
accountants, corporate finance attorneys and investment bankers. Ms. Blue
received her Master of Business Administration from LaSalle University with
a concentration in Finance and graduated from Bloomsburg University where
she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Ms. Blue has also
received her Certified Risk Professional (CRP) designation from the Bank
Administration Institute.
