Kevin S. Buehler is a partner in the international consulting firm McKinsey & Company, Inc., where he serves a broad range of clients in the financial services industry. Prior to joining McKinsey, Mr. Buehler spent three years as a corporate attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he specialized in high technology private equity investments, international mergers and acquisitions, and corporate securities issuances. In 1989, Mr. Buehler co-founded Crimson & Brown Associates, Inc. (CBA), a provider of targeted recruiting services. He served as a Director and Chief Financial Officer of CBA until its sale to Kaplan Educational Centers Inc., a division of the Washington Post Corporation, in 1995 (providing investors with a more than 10-fold return on their investments and a compound annual internal rate of return of 39%). Mr. Buehler received his Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Harvard College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and received a Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor of the Harvard Law Review.
