  • Grand Pacific Financing Corp (www.gpusa.com) specializes in workout financing for financially troubled income-producing assets. Grand Pacific's expertise includes project finance, pre-lease/pre-sold construction loans, and bridge and permanent financings. Grand Pacific Financing Corp. has offices in Torrance, Monterey Park, San Francisco and New York.

  • Chailease Group (www.chailease.com) is the largest leasing company in Taiwan with over 50% of the market, 1,500 employees, 6,000 corporate clients and an office network that spans the Asia-Pacific region. Chailease is expanding its scope of operations from leasing and brokerage of installment contracts to domestic, multinational and international factoring management, trade finance, venture capital investment, financial and management consulting, and construction and development finance. Chailease has total assets of over US$2.7 billion.

  • China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. is The Koo's Group's insurance arm engaged in traditional life, health care, disability and group insurance.


  • China Securities Co. Ltd (www.chinasec.com.tw) is one of Taiwan's leading investment banks and is engaged in brokerage, underwriting, corporate finance and fixed income activities.

  • KG Investments is an investment firm funded by The Koo's Group and other leading Asian conglomerates including Nippon Life, United Overseas Bank, Lee Kim Yew (PTE) Ltd., Salim Group, Tong Yang Group and the Yuchengco Group with business emphasis on derivatives sales and trading, regional brokerage, asset management and corporate finance.

  • KGI Securities One Public Company Limited (www.kgieworld.co.th) is the largest securities broker listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and operates 23 other specialized funds.

  • KG NextVision (www.kgnv.com) is the private equity arm of The Koo's Group and is listed on the Hang Seng exchange in Hong Kong. It takes equity stakes in both public and privately-held companies. KG NextVision seeks investments that complement the activities of The Koo's Group. The Koo's Group also controls Taiwan Cement Corporation, the largest cement company in Taiwan, Taiwan Polypropylene Co. Ltd., Grand Pacific Petrochemical Corp., China Synthetic Rubber Corporation and KK Converter Company Ltd. In addition, The Koo's Group owns an international chain of hotels through Sino-American Development Corporation and China Trust Hotels Ltd.
