As a result, Milestone’s deal flow allows us to see a multitude of merchant banking opportunities whereby we look to invest in companies using our own balance sheet and capital. This investment can come in many forms, including, early stage financing for de novo banks and start up finance companies and insurance companies, growth capital for companies looking to accelerate asset growth and earnings enhancement, or acquisition financing for companies seeking to complement organic growth with either “fill in” or “bolt on” acquisitions.
