Bina N. Shetty is a Managing Director of Milestone Advisors LLC. Her primary focus and area of concentration is in the regional bank and thrift and asset management sectors. Over her 14 year career, Ms. Shetty has gained extensive global capital markets experience, having facilitated initial public offerings, private equity placements and strategic advisory assignments on behalf of financial services corporate worldwide. Prior to joining Milestone Advisors, Ms. Shetty was head of the Financial Structured Products and Financial Services practice at CanaccordAdams, a North American mid market investment bank with operations in the UK, where she was primarily responsible developing and supervising the firm’s equity raising activities for domestic and foreign asset management companies and mid-market financial services companies. She was formerly a Director at CIBC World Markets, and held positions with Merrill Lynch and Hovde Financial, all focusing on financial institutions investment banking. Ms. Shetty received a B.B.A. focusing on Finance and Accounting from the George Washington University School of Business & Public Management.
